official website of Uptown Dance Centre and
Uptown Dance Company.
Our
school was established in order to bring the
highest quality of dance training to
 all our
students. We are interested in training dancers
of all ages and levels in order to bring them to
their full potential as a dancer, to foster a
life-long love
and appreciation of dance, and provide a quality
performance experience which will instill
confidence and poise.
Our Vision...
is
to achieve our goal by providing top level
professional instruction for all ages, and
continually evaluate each student’s progress
and objectives so they can be placed in a class
where they will thrive and be challenged. Our
faculty provides a broad range of instruction,
combining the traditions and heritage of dance
with the most current and innovative trends in
ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. In addition,
we have a pre-professional student company for
those students who think they may wish to pursue
a professional career in dance, giving them more
training opportunities and performance exposure.
